I launched Literary Book Gifts just this year. I love to read and I have a background in design.



Reading has always been a way for me to connect with the world. I have always wanted to a way to turn this type of connection into a way with connecting with others.

So finally I decided to make some shirts with designs for book lovers. The fabrics are all high quality cotton the book t-shirts come in tons of different colors and in a wide range of sizes. The tote bags each come in 3 sizes!

Women’s Shirts









In Search of Lost Time T-Shirt



Marcel Proust’s writings on time and the nature of memory are well read in both the literature as well as the philosophical community. In addition to the title and author of the work, this shirt depicts a swan looking at it’s own reflection in water, as if searching for lost time, answers, or memories. When the work was initially published it was in seven volumes, the first being Swann’s Way, and although not about an actual swan, the graphic alludes to that title.


This is a women’s shirt that comes in thirteen colors and from sizes extra small to 3XL.

Men’s Shirts

Our National Parks T-Shirt



Although John Muir is not always considered literature, I felt I should create a shirt about him because of his significant contribution to the conservation of the national parks. This graphic depicts an abstract image of a forest, perhaps of the sequoias or redwoods of California.


This is a men’s shirt that comes in twelve colors and sizes range from small to 5XL.

Totes

Metamorphosis Tote Bag



Kafka is well known for his existential novel Metamorphosis. I wanted to make sure I showed the beetle as he was in the book, alive. The beetle in this picture is anthropomorphized and in comes in a red print to capture the feeling of absurdity throughout the novel.


This is a tote bag, which is great for carrying around all of your reading material. It comes in red print on a light cream background. There are three sizes to choose from.
