New Year Book Tag!
NEW YEAR BOOK TAG!
I came across this tag on Nerdy Book Life (@nerdybooklife19) and thought it looked fun! I think it originated from Bookables which is a You Tube channel. The questions also echo a few posts I've seen from other bloggers about books they've not managed to squeeze into 2017 so it seems like a good tag take part in over this weekend!
How many books are you planning to read in 2018?
This year I have managed 216 books (Is there still time to squeeze a few more in before midnight on the 31st?!) but from January, I will be increasing my hours at work so I think I'll set a more modest target of 100. My NetGalley shelf is already at 17 books and I can't reveal the number of paperbacks stacked next to my bed but if I can make a dent in both those piles I'll be happy!
Name five books you didn't get to read this year but want to make a priority in 2018?
(This is from my pile of paperbacks - I daren't look at what's lingering on my kindle...)
Name a genre you want to read more of?
I'm happy reading Crime Fiction, Commercial Fiction and a bit of Literary Fiction and will stick to these again in 2018.
Psychological thrillers and domestic noir are still my favourite genres - I shall never tire of the twist I don't see coming!
Three non book related goals for 2018?
As if I have any of those, what a ridiculous question.
What's a book you've had forever that you still need to read?
I've had this since Killer Women Weekend 2016. In hardback. Signed by the author. It's criminal that I haven't yet read it and I will make it a resolution to read it as soon as possible!

One word that you're hoping 2018 will be?
Bibliotastic?
Or ...balanced.... a better bookblogging /life balance? (I almost wrote that without laughing....)
Tag a friend.....

Happy New Year Katherine!
